Kailyn Lowry Doesnt Regret Taking Son Isaac To Hawaii With Her Despite Risking Time In Prison For

Even though she could go to prison, Kailyn Lowry still thinks that taking her son with Jo Rivera on vacation to Hawaii and ignoring their custody agreements was all worth it! The Teen Mom star made it very clear that she has no regrets on her newest Coffee Convos podcast episode.

‘It’s not that big of a deal,’ she argued, nonchalantly. ‘I made this decision [with] full awareness that I could potentially go to jail for 24 hours — and I think it’s worth it.’

Of course, both she and her ex are allowed to take their son, Isaac, 9, on vacations but there are still some rules they have to follow, something Kailyn did not do this time around.

She explained to co-host Lindsie Chrisley  that ‘We have to write a 30 days notice for vacation. First come, first serve. So if I put in my 30 days notice before he does or anyone, it’s mine. Originally I was going to go to Hawaii July 5th to 20th, which is two weeks. I realized that first week of July was my week [with the kids], and Leah was going on the 1st. So obviously [I] wanted to go and be with them the first week…It was my week anyway, I changed the dates after I submitted my 30 days notice.’

The one detail she admits she did not realize was the fact that parents alternate years when it comes to holidays, this time, the Fourth of July.

So when Kailyn texted her ex to ask if she could pick up their son to make their early flights, Jo simply informed her she could not since it was his turn to have him on July 4.
