Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman bleeds yellow, now NBA Twitter thinks he's an alien
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman took an elbow to the face and started bleeding profusely while on the court Sunday night, but it was all yellow.
Osman, 27, returned to the game at Little Ceasars Arena after getting checked out in the locker room. The franchise has yet to comment on the situation.
NBA Twitter, however, quickly ran with the idea that Osman must be an alien or a "lizard person" if his blood is yellow.
Others worried for the player's health, claiming that the color could stem from a brain issue, but it's probably just due to a sinus infection.
Still, the Turkish international will want to get checked out by a doctor to get a clean bill of health.
Hamidou Diallo knocks out Cedi Osman
Detroit Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo was the player responsible for busting Osman's nose.
Diallo, 24, went up for a layup, but came back down with his elbow swinging backwards, and caught Osman.
While Osman was on the ground and bleeding, Donovan Mitchell can be heard saying that his teammate's blood is yellow.
Other Cavs players started surrounding Osman to see the yellow blood for themselves.
Is Cedi Osman an alien?
Osman, who once confirmed his belief in aliens, finished the night with 10 points on 4-for-8 shooting from the field in Cleveland's 102-94 win over Detroit.
During an interview with UPROXX's DimeMag, Osman revealed that he loves watching documentaries on Netflix, specifically about aliens.
"Mostly I like ones about aliens," Osman said. "Kind of, like, because I believe in them."
Cavaliers (13-7) face the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday at Scotiabank Arena.
